Remember Him As Great

Today started out like any other day. We had class and of course I was complaining like most people there. What none of us knew, however, was that within hours, even minutes, our lives would change by the next thing we heard on the intercom. The message started out with one of the secretaries saying they had an announcement. Then it cut off. They came back on, and you could hear people crying in the back. Next thing we knew, they said a student had commited suicide. This student was one of the best kids in this school. Immediately people started sobbing. His closest friends, luckily, had been called into the office before this to be told in person. I can only imagine the horror they faced at that moment. Unfortunately, though, one of his closest friends was overlooked. He heard about his best friend through an intercom. There is nothing to do when that is heard.

Chad has changed this school. Today the halls were full of people weeping for the loss of one of the smartest kids in the school. He was also considered one of the nicest. His shirts were always so funny. Never again will I, or anyone, see his great "I'm Hungary for Chad" shirt anymore. Today we lost a great person. In the blink of an eye we lost what could have been an amazing person. People come and they go, but Chad will never leave this school. He will live on through the people that knew him. I do not ask for sympethy, for I did not know him nearly as well as others. I just ask that people take a moment of silence and pray for this amazing person's parents and friends. Today we see what people are capable of. Today we see what effect we have on people. Today we see what the world can look like through the eyes of someone so seemingly cheerful. Today we lost a great person. Today, we learn...

Been a while

Ok ok, i no i havent really posted a lot at all lately. Itz been like two months. Anyway nuthin new haz really happened. About the only thing i can think of that iz worth talking about iz soundsations. So far i am goin to be involved in 5 thingz that r gonna try to make it. Im doing a song with my actual band, Active Input. Also ill be involed with Ashley George, Hannah Mosqueta (dont no how to spell that), Leif Mosuer (again dno how to spell it), and lastly Sarah Wickett. All but Sarah's and Leif's will have Pete Stockdale, Jake Short, and your's truly playing behind those singing. Sarahs's will just feature Jake and me due to no guitar music. Sarah's, i feel, will be the most challenging one. (obviously) But alas i am goin to head out cuz im bored an have already written too much. later.

Stacked!

Ya, i know i said id try to post more, but wut can i say? I'm lazy. Anyway, i just bought a new stack from Jody Hawkins. He sold it to me for an amazing price. I wont even mention how much itz worth or ne of that. But it will now put out enough noise for us to do a concert. People will not leave our practice section asking if we have a bass. (That happened once.) Standing at about 5', itz a monster, and i luv it. It puts out 500 watts. Im using a split 250 head. This is everything ive ever wanted.

Also, for those of u wondering how deer hunting went, i shot an 8-pointer that im very proud of. We ended up shooting a total of 12 deer that weekend. Great weekend.

Friday Night Lights

Well this probably is a little late for posting, but unfortunately the lights at the football field on friday shown for the last time while the seniors played their last game. One of my best friends, Jake Short, happens to be the kicker. This was his last game to play. Unfortunately they were beat in the last few minutes of the game by the Dutch. Pete Stockdale, another good friend, plays for the team. This, unfortunately, would be the last game for this season. For the first time in something like 8 years we had a winning season. We went from zero wins, to three wins, to a lot more this year. Anyway, congradulate the football players for a good season. (the straight ones anyway) Good luck in the future for the seniors.

First Post

I was just talking to Peter on the internet. We were discussing which songs we should practice for our band. The reason we are wondering this is because we are planning on putting on a Winter Concert. This concert would rock your socks off. Trust me. Anyway it would be great to get some input as to a FEW songs we should play. Also i would like to see how many people would go, and how much they'd pay. (we'll pry do it for free anyway so it doesn't really matter, but just in case)

Welcome to my Blog

So, it seems that everyone these days has a blog. I decided I might as well have one too. Right now there is absolutley nothing to talk about. In my blog I will try to write about a lot of music, sports that interest me, and probably a lot of politics. Anyway I hope ya like it.
